Instrument characteristicsFeatures
The detachable liquid cell is a specialized accessory for infrared spectrophotometers. The liquid cell uses KBr as a window, with a transmission range of 2.5 μ -25 μ m, and can perform infrared measurements of liquid thicknesses of 0.05mm, 0.1mm, 0.25mm, and 0.5mm.
Operating Instructions
Specific operation method (must be operated in a dry environment, such as in a room with a dehumidifier or placing an infrared baking lamp on a workbench):1. First, place the large plug-in board with steps flat on the desktop, with the main side facing downwards. Align a rubber ring in the center of the hole.
2. Place a window panel aligned with the lead sheet. Be careful not to hold it directly with your hands to prevent moisture from entering the window panel.
3. Select the desired thickness of lead sheet and align it on the window, then drop an appropriate amount of anhydrous test sample in the center of the window.
4. Cover another window panel and align it with another lead panel.
5. Press on the upper cover plate and screw in four screws (diagonally and gradually, do not apply too much force, the liquid should not leak much to prevent the window from fracturing).
6. After analysis, the sample should be opened in a timely manner, cleaned with carbon tetrachloride for residual samples, and dried before being stored in a glass container.
7. Before reuse, if the transparency of the window panel is found to be poor, a small amount of anhydrous ethanol can be adsorbed onto deer skin and ground before use.
8. Lead sheets: 0.05mm per sheet, 0.1mm per sheet, 0.25mm per sheet, 0.5mm per sheet.
Notes on precautions1. Be very careful when assembling detachable liquid tanks to avoid damaging the window panels.
2. All components must use good desiccants and be stored in dry containers.
